My challenge for you is…DRINK MORE WATER. The water challenge is all about forming a healthy habit!
I’m finding that more and more people do not drink very much water during their day. I thought it would be something simple, free, and not too challenging to do. So, for my first challenge I’m asking you to drink more water.
THE CHALLENGE:
1. Drink water before every meal: you choose how much.
2. Drink water before any other beverage in the morning.
3. For one month.

There is no scientific proof of how much water we should drink. My goal personally is 8, 8 ounce glasses a day. I want to see if you notice a difference. By being hydrated I’ve seen clients lose weight, have more energy, experience less headaches, improve their skin, and just plain feel better. I believe it’s a healthy habit we can all do. Yes, you will have to go the bathroom more (a complaint I hear often). But, think of the extra bathroom visits as more movement and getting some squats in. 🙂
WebMd suggest 6, 8 ounce glasses a day. Please note that you can drink too much water and this challenge is only to make you aware of how much you are or aren’t getting in. I want you to be hydrated and feeling well.

Hara hachi bu – I tend to go past the 80% rule too often when eating meals and have noticed when I’ve had 8 oz water right before meals I do eat less.

Day 6! How’s it going for peeps? I feel like I have to make up extra oz. at the end of the day to reach my oz. goal – some days better than others. Is there a group on FB to support or just on our own?
