Do you want stronger arms?
Do you want more toned arms?
Do you want to feel better in that tank top this summer?
If you’re sayin’ heck yea, then it’s time to build up your biceps and triceps with these six simple (simple, not easy) arm exercises below. The great thing is, you can do them at the gym, but if you don’t have a gym membership no worries, get yourself a pair of dumbbells and you can do them at home. It’s really that simple.
With dumbbells, it is nice to have a variety of sizes. As women, we get stronger quickly, which is really great! Depending on your fitness level, have a couple of sets available. If you are new to working out or just getting back into it, start slowly and with 5lb-8lb weights. As it gets easier due to you getting stronger, don’t be afraid to get a set of 10lb or 12lb weights. Trust me, it feels great to get stronger and lift heavier weights, and don’t worry you won’t bulk up.
EXERCISES:
1. Push-Ups
2. Walking Planks
3. Dips
4. Crab Walk
5. Tricep Extensions
6. Bicep Curls
Do each exercise for 30 seconds. If you are new or just getting back into working out, do 1 set. As you get stronger work up to 2 sets. Set a goal of doing 2-3 sets, 3 times a week. Take a 30-45 second stretch break between each set.
